POST 7

I feel quite comfortable with what I am studying, Cinema and TV. However, I would change a few things. In the first place, I think that we have some theoretical subjects of FB that, in my opinion, are not very useful for our academic development in relation to our career. Some of those subjects I enjoyed them, because they are about politics and the way society works and I really like learning about that, but others didn’t make much sense to me. I would change those class hours for other more practical subjects, such as deepening electives according to the interest of each person.

Now I’m in the fourth year and I think I’m learning things that I would have liked to learn in the first or second year, because I think I would have done things very differently. In that sense, I would change the order of some subjects.

I think the teachers are really good, they have a lot of experience in what they do and I like the way they teach, except for some very specific cases. They always try to combine theory with practice and talk to us from their experience and that seems very valuable to me.

I think the infrastructure of the place is good in general, but I wish there were a lot of green spaces and there are less and less :(. Anyway, I had a great time at university and I have learned many things. I could not enjoy it as much in these two years of pandemic as I would have liked, but well, that's life.

POST 6

I'm not very interested in traveling into the future, because I imagine that everything will be extremely technological and impersonal. Besides, I am afraid of climate change. I feel that at this point it is inevitable because those most responsible are not doing anything good to solve it.

Anyways... I am curious to travel to the future and I would like to go, and I really hope that it is not as I imagine it, that despite technological advances, the quality of life improves and social relations are strengthened.

I would like to travel to a close date, like 2040, just to know what I am doing with my life at that moment. But also, I would like to travel to a very distant date like 200 or 300 years more, or maybe much more.

I imagine that the future will be very similar to some science fiction movies, with space travel, many machines doing things that humans do now, and very fast means of transport like in the television series ‘‘Futurama’’.

The truth is that if I had to travel in time, I would more like to travel to the past. I feel that it causes me less anxiety, because somehow I know a little about how things were before, and important events, through books, movies and stories. Maybe what I say is a bit boring but I feel more attracted to the past.

POST 5

I would like to work making movies and travel to many places doing that. I love to create ideas and I really enjoy doing it with more people. I think that the area that I would feel most comfortable with, is in the direction of photography because I like to bring words to images or vice versa.

I think that the workspace that I would like the most would be the space and time of shooting, when the films are being recorded. It’s an exhausting work, but very comforting at the same time. I imagine seeing with my team, a result that we like and I think it’s a very special moment. I think it’s a beautiful job to share a collective process with more people, even more if that movie or short film makes sense to them.

Also, I like the idea of teaching cinema to other people. I would like to be a teacher at some point in my life or do popular workshops for children. I think it’s a very interesting form of expression and a possibility for them to tell their own stories or other people's stories from their perspective.

I have always been interested in the relationship between cinema and childhood/adolescence, I would like to share my knowledge or make films with them as protagonists.

POST 4

Every Christmas I wrote to Santa a letter asking him for a dog. Also, I asked my parents on all my birthdays. When I was 9 my parents broke up. My grandmother gave to me a big big gift on a big big box for my 10th birthday to make me a little happier after the breakup. I opened the box and I saw the smallest and brightest eyes I've ever seen in my whole life with the biggest ears and the strangest tail. I fell in love with the little puppy. After a few days knowing her, I realized that she was very playful and disastrous, so I decided to call her Pillina! ha ha ha, I was a little and uncreative girl.

Nowadays, Pillina is a polite old dog. She definitly made me more happier when I was a kid and she is a good partner now. She looks a lot like the ''perrito Lipigas'' but blond. I think the most characteristic things about her is that she likes to play with balls, she loves plush toys and she hates men.

POST 3

I remember that when I was a child I went to visit my grandmother almost every day and it was very fun. One of the reasons for that was that she had a TV cable, so I could see many programs with my sister.

My favourite was Dragon Tales. It was about two kids and their dragon friends. The story was so magical and the adventures of the characters were awesome. Also, I loved the dragons of this program. My favorite was Ord, a blue and big dragon who was fearful. I still remember the phrase to go to dragon's world, it was "I dream and wish with all my heart, to go to a distant land flying on a dragon!"

When I grew up I saw other kinds of TV series such as Wizards of Waverly Place and Zack and Cody but my favorite was Hannah Montana. I watched all of the seasons and I watched the movie many times. During this year I had coronavirus, therefore I had much free time and felt so bored and I decided to see Hannah Montana again and I felt very nostalgic.

POST 2

I have been to a few concerts, but without a doubt the best I went to is Radiohead’s concert. They are a british alternative rock band, formed in 1985 and the vocalist is Thom Yorke. This concert was in 2018 at the National Stadium. I went with a friend, we met a couple of hours before to stand in line and drink some beers. We had bought tickets in the "Galery" section but our goal was to get to the front rows and we did it by jumping the grilles 😈.

Before Radiohead played, it was the turn of Flying Lotus, a musician producer. I didn't know that artist, but I liked him so much. Later, Radiohead played, they sang new and old songs like the classic song ''Karma Police'' and all people sang, moved their arms and lit up with their cell phones. It was a very good concert, it met my expectations and I had a good time. I don't listen to them much now but I remember that day as an incredible one.

POST 1

I would like to visit many countries, one of them is France. I think that it’s a country very interesting mainly for his history, landscape’s diversity and culture. I would like to visit Marsella in summer. In that place people say that they found the most beautiful beaches of the country, like Prado Beach. Besides, I’d like to go to Belleville, because once I saw an animated film called ‘‘The Triplets of Belleville’’ and I really liked it because the story takes place in this neighborhood that is located on one of the highest hills in France, and its streets are long and narrow. Also, I think that it’s a very important place in the history of the country, due to its firm position with respect to the Paris Commune, for that reason Belleville became a place of street art and culture in general. Besides, I have seen many french films and I think they are very good, so I would like to live and study there for a while.
